Green Theory incorporated custom framed trellises into the raised planter boxes at Guelph City Hall creating an environment specifically for climbing plants to grow.
Custom Planters
Cut-outs for electrical and lighting are another particularly common planter customization available from Green Theory. Electrical outlet accommodations were incorporated into the Join Modular planters at Guelph City Hall courtyard. Additionally, one planter at this site also required custom openings built-in to accommodate support posts for a unique historical bell feature. Integrated Seats
At the Guelph City Hall courtyard Join benches are incorporated into the planting system so there are cozy dining nooks and seating areas throughout the space. Since thermally modified ash seats do not require treatment, they will develop a natural silvery patina over time when exposed to the elements.
Dry storage seating is also available as part of the Join system. These Seats work particularly well adjacent to a pool area or whenever additional storage is required.
Cantilever seats are another seating option available as part of the Join system. Integrate wall-mounted benches onto the side of a planter unit.
